![]() If anyone has suggestions or recommendations on how to troubleshoot or fix the problem, they would be greatly appreciated. I have noticed that any changes to the BIOS do not save across restarts, and removing boot devices does change the order. I have yet to try breadboarding, replacing the CMOS battery (simply because I don't have one currently), or using bootable media. On start, it goes back to the error screen and GRUB shell. If I try to use the BIOS to boot with Windows Boot Manager, it flashes "System BootOrder not found. ini file and tell it boot from that, but that causes the computer to restart, show the error, and then go back to the GRUB shell. Using ls commands, I was able to find the boot. If I press boot, it brings me to the GRUB shell where I can enter commands. It gives me "Error 161-Real-Time-Clock-Power-Loss" right after the BIOS screen HP logo flashes, and gives me the option to boot or enter bios. ![]() The computer immediately turned on without me pressing the button, so I turned it off and inserted the card so I could read the error message. ![]() I was cleaning out my card the other day while the PC was off but the plug still inserted, and as I went to reinsert the card, the metal bracket briefly touched the board. It is dual booting Ubuntu and Windows, with GRUB handling boot. I own an OEM HP EliteDesk 800 G1 with an Intel i7-4790, 4 x 8GB DDR3, AMD R7 250 graphics card, 320W PSU, 1 sata SSD, Wifi card, and 2 HDDS. Hi all, I'm finding myself needing a little help fixing my PC.
